Origin Of Hsin Hua charity foundation:

In this magnificent world, God has given us unlimited possibilities to evolve and create a better living standard. On the other hand, there are also factors that contribute to people suffering to the point that they can not survive.

I have witnessed a 12-years-old orphan boy who survives by catching fish and shrimps from the river. The orphan doesn’t have the capability to earn an income; therefore, the only way for him stay alive is to feed himself with whatever he can catch from the river.

I have seen the media reporting countless families to feed their children and struggle just to feed themselves.

In June I saw the media reporting family with the father sick in bed in need to be taken care of and the mother in her 40s working and earning 20000NTD per month. With the low wage, she has to take care of medical bills of the husband and for her 3 kids including tuition. The youngest being 7 year old and each kid could only have a bowl of instant noodle per day. One must be able to imagine how difficult it must be being in such a scenario.

In the countryside, there are families with the elderly passed away, but the families are unable to pay for the funeral.

Seeing people going through difficulties due to various reasons brings tears to my eyes.

I have left my hometown and travelled to Taipei at the age of 15. After more than 50 years of batting to make a living in this glamorous city, I have turned 70 years old.

Form now on, I hope to give back to the society and do meaning charity work. Though it may not be much I will try within my power to help those in need, help the kids to continue with their education so they have a chance to turn the tide. It is the reason why I have submitted the application to establish a legal charity in July 2016.

With the approval of the Taipei government , I hope to help people in the following criteria:

1.Help those who starve or orphans.

• 2.Help the families that can’t afford funeral for the elderly.
• 3.Help those who can’t afford tuition for the kids.
• 4.Help those lonely and helpless elders.
• 5.Fund the orphanages and dependent children (homeless and underage)

This charity foundation hopes to provide for those that live in Taiwan and we will visit those in needs to understand their situations.

I am not very wealthy nor successful but I plan to donate a fixed percentage of my company’s profit margin to help those in need.

I believe the society could benefit from this charity foundation.
